Ogogome Ekpecham - Development Manager

With a wealth of global experience, Ogogome shares her journey at TotalEnergies and her perspective on the evolving energy industry.

Ogogome began her career at TotalEnergies in 2005 after earning her Master’s degree from Texas A&M University in the US. Reflecting on her decision to join the Company, she says:

“I was really eager to work for TotalEnergies because at the time I saw it as an opportunity to grow my career professionally and personally and I also perceived the Company to have strategic and significant growth opportunities. So, for me it was a win-win decision, it was an easy one to make.”

For nearly two years, Ogogome has been a vital part of our Copenhagen office, contributing as Development Manager for Conventional Offshore Assets in OneTech. Her primary responsibility is to ensure that the team delivers value-adding development studies for the Company. This involves maximizing energy resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and development costs, and accelerating development timelines—all aimed at ensuring the sustainable growth of TotalEnergies.

Discussing the Company’s role in the energy transition, Ogogome emphasizes the importance of leading the transformation:

“The energy industry is transforming, especially with society demanding cleaner and more affordable energy. As a world-class multi-energy company, I’m proud to see that our strategy, our ambition and our actions are right in the center of this transformation. We are leading the change, and we are very much committed to it. This really makes me proud to be working for TotalEnergies."
