Case company for Naturfagsmaraton (Science Marathon)

In collaboration with Naturvidenskabernes Hus (The House of Natural Sciences), we proudly participate as a case company in Denmark’s largest science competition for 5th and 6th graders. This partnership, spanning over 50 municipalities, aims to ignite children’s interest in science and technology, encouraging them to pursue STEM education.

Hosting Science Day

Science Day is an annual event by Naturvidenskabernes Hus designed to captivate young minds and introduce them to the exciting world of STEM. Since 2022, we have welcomed children to our Esbjerg and Copenhagen offices, offering them a firsthand look at how STEM is integral to our daily operations. 

 

Education Esbjerg

In May 2023, we partnered with Education Esbjerg to transform the city into a hub of learning excellence. The initiative strengthens our ties with the local community and attracts talented university students, positioning them as future innovators in the energy sector.

EIS Esbjerg International School

Our collaboration with EIS Esbjerg International School is a significant initiative aimed at providing international education for expats’ children in Esbjerg. This partnership is designed to attract expats to Esbjerg by ensuring their children have access to quality education regardless of their nationality or cultural heritage. The collaboration includes various outings and activities, and it is supported by a multi-year contract, strengthening our commitment to supporting the growing international community in Esbjerg.

University of Southern Denmark

Our partnership with the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) includes various initiatives such as the SDU Student Collaboration Day and the SDU Project and Internship Day. These events allow us to connect with students and recent graduates, providing them with insights into our company culture and a wide range of career opportunities. Additionally, we participate in SDU's career preparation activities, where we engage with the university’s students through presentations and networking sessions.

Aalborg University

 

Our collaboration with Aalborg University (AAU) is a strategic partnership aimed at fostering innovation and providing valuable opportunities for students. The partnership includes various initiatives such as internship and student assistant opportunities with TotalEnergies. We also organize events where AAU students visit our offices to learn about career paths in the energy industry, participate in Q&A sessions, and explore our facilities. This partnership contributes to the development of future talent in the field of energy and engineering.

Esbjerg Municipality

 

Our "Work Experience Week" program will be launched in November 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen the talent pipeline and enhance TotalEnergies’ local visibility by offering a Work Experience Week for local students from 8th to 10th grade. These programs are designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to various departments within our company.

Business Esbjerg

Our partnership with Business Esbjerg is a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting TotalEnergies as a leading employer in Esbjerg and attracting top talent to our organization. This partnership includes various initiatives such as the participation in the ESKAN network for young professionals and direct involvement in the organization’s established HR network. These activities help us connect with the local community, enhance our employer branding, and support the development of future talent in the region.

Rybners High School

We are proud to partner with Rybners High School through the Friendship Class initiative - a three-year collaboration that begins in students’ first year. This unique program bridges classroom learning with real-world business experience, offering students annual company visits, scholarship opportunities, and hands-on case studies. Together, we are helping shape the next generation of talent with a strong foundation in economics, finance, and international perspectives.
