Getting everyone home safe every day
Safety is more than a priority at TotalEnergies; it is a core value on which we will not compromise for any reason. Everyone who works at our sites, whether offshore or onshore, must be able to return home safe and sound at the end of their workday.
The Company has set a goal of zero fatalities and is aiming for an ongoing reduction in the number of accidents taking place at work.
Our actions plan to prevent accidents is based on long-term work to continuously adapt and systematically implement our two global programs: “Our Lives First” and “The Golden Rules”.
This indispensable fundamental work is supplemented by specific action plans resulting from investigations carried out when new events occur.

World Day for Safety
Every year, we mark World Day for Safety world-wide, including on all our onshore and offshore sites in Denmark. The day unites all our employees and contractors around the common goal of remembering incidents of the past to make our shared future even safer – for you, for me, for all.
Our 12 Golden Rules: our commitment to integrity
Our 12 Golden Rules serve as a fundamental framework to ensure the well-being of our employees, contractors, and the communities we operate in.
These rules are all based on experience and designed to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment, fostering a culture of responsibility and vigilance amongst all.
Safe Driver Campaign
Our #SafeDriver campaign aims to raise awareness about road safety and promote safe driving habits. It focuses on three key behaviors: maintaining control of your vehicle, avoiding driving when tired or distracted, and being attentive to other road users and pedestrians. The campaign encourages everyone to adopt safer driving practices to ensure road safety for all.
