TotalEnergies in Denmark
København, 10. april 2025 – Efter nogle uger med havbundsundersøgelser i Jammerland Bugt fortsætter aktiviteterne nu med 3D undersøgelser i Lillebælt Syd.
Et skib er i gang med at indsamle data om vanddybde og fysiske forhold på havbunden og vil senere få følgeskab af to mindre skibe fra Jammerland Bugt. Gennem avanceret 3D teknologi vil skibene måle havbunden og identificere store sten og opdage gammelt, ueksploderet ammunition o.l. Denne vigtige dataindsamling bruges til den videre designproces og konstruktion af de to havvindmølleparker.
Zhanar Dreisig, Asset Manager i TotalEnergies for de to vindprojekter, glæder sig over, at arbejdet med geofysiske undersøgelser nu kan føres videre til Lillebælt Syd:
”Jeg er glad for, at vi nu helt bogstaveligt også får sat nogle skibe i søen i Lillebælt Syd. Skibene skal udføre geofysiske undersøgelser, der er helt afgørende for udviklingen af havvindmølleparken og vores målsætning om at kunne producere strøm i Lillebælt fra 2029,” siger hun.
Det er forventet, at havbundsundersøgelserne i Lillebælt varer til sidst i juli 2025, hvor især det store af de tre skibe vil være synligt fra kysten.
"Geofysiske undersøgelser giver os indsigt i havbundens struktur og sikrer, at vi kan planlægge byggeriet af vindmøllefundamenter og etablering af undersøiske kabler med højeste præcision og minimal påvirkning af havmiljøet," siger Andreas Karhula Lauridsen, Vice President og havvindchef i European Energy.
Havvindmølleparken Lillebælt Syd vil med en kapacitet på 165 MW kunne forsyne mere end 148.000 husstande i 2029, hvor parken forventes at være i drift. Dermed bliver parken et væsentligt bidrag til Sønderborg Kommunes klimaambition ProjectZero.

Seabed surveys now also underway in the Lillebælt Syd offshore wind project
Copenhagen, April 10, 2025 - After a few weeks of seabed surveys in Jammerland Bugt, activities now continue with 3D surveys in the Lillebælt Syd waters.
One big survey vessel has now started to collect data on water depth and physical conditions of the seabed, and will soon be accompanied by two smaller vessels. Using advanced 3D technology, the vessels will measure the seabed and identify large rocks and detect old unexploded ordnance etc. This important data collection will be used for the further design process and construction of the wind farm.
Zhanar Dreisig, Asset Manager at TotalEnergies Offshore Wind, is pleased that the work can now continue on for Lillebælt Syd:
"I'm pleased to see the geophysical operations launched now for Lillebælt Syd. The vessels will carry out geophysical surveys that are crucial for the development of the offshore wind farm and our goal of being able to produce electricity in the Lillebælt area from 2029," she says.
The seabed surveys in Lillebælt are expected to last until the end of July 2025, and particularly the largest of the three vessels will be visible from the coast during that time.
"Geophysical surveys give us insight into the structure of the seabed and ensure that we can plan the construction of wind turbine foundations and the installation of subsea cables with the highest precision and minimal impact on the marine environment," says Andreas Karhula Lauridsen, Vice President and Head of Offshore Wind at European Energy.
With a capacity of 165 MW, the Lillebælt Syd offshore wind farm will be able to supply more than 148,000 households in 2029, when the farm is expected to be in operation. This is a significant contribution to Sønderborg Municipality's climate ambition ProjectZero.
