Kasper Ollgaard Bloch - Production Support Methods Lead

In our third edition, we meet Kasper Ollgaard Bloch, Production Support Methods Lead at TEPDK, who reflects on his offshore and onshore work experience, as well as shares motivational stories about dedication, hardworking and a good team spirit.

Kasper joined the company in 2007 as a Production Superintendent Trainee on Dan Fox. Since then, his career has included a mix of offshore and onshore roles across various installations and projects, ultimately bringing him back to the TEPDK office last year as Production Support Methods Lead.

Looking back, Kasper shares an experience that impacted his professional career:

One of the most memorable experiences I have is from working abroad, being part of the Tyra project, where we designed and built a place for our offshore colleagues, where they had to work and live away from home. The concept we made was a platform where the inspiration was a home away from home.

As a Production Support Methods Lead, Kasper describes his team as being "the heart of the business". His day-to-day work involves supporting both the offshore and onshore colleagues on various tasks, but also working on various strategic projects.

However, a career like this does not come without challenges. "Working abroad with your family not there is challenging. But I think what made it possible was the good collaboration we had between the colleagues on site and also our teams in Esbjerg, and of course my family back home.". With this testimony, Kasper highlights the problems many employees face. However, our strong team spirit as a company supports them during their missions, when they are far from their loved ones.

Through both challenges and achievements, Kasper's story demonstrates the resilience and teamwork that define our company culture. His experience reminds us that while the work may take us far from home, it’s the support we give and receive that truly makes the difference.
