Henrik’s journey with the company began in 2011 in Qatar with Maersk Oil, before transferring to Denmark when TotalEnergies took over. Over the years, he has been part of some of the most significant milestones—from production and decommissioning on Tyra West, where he witnessed the last lift with the crane, to commissioning work both at the yard in Indonesia and later offshore.
Today, Henrik serves as HSE Superintendent on the new Tyra platform—a role he describes as a dream come true. His main responsibility is to implement and monitor the HSE management system, ensuring safety and compliance across operations.
Outside of work—Henrik enjoys playing golf with his wife, whenever the Danish weather allows.
Reflecting on the energy industry’s transformation, Henrik shares:

One of Henrik’s most memorable holidays offshore was Christmas in Qatar, where colleagues from many nationalities came together for live music, raffles, and shared traditions, creating an unforgettable festive atmosphere.
