North Sea Life and People
TotalEnergies and Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) teamed up with Esbjerg Municipality and contemporary artist Mathilde Fenger to tell the story of Esbjerg’s transformation from a fishing community to Energy Metropolis with Tyra and its redevelopment as a centerpiece. The highlights of the project are:
- Eight large oil paintings
- A mobile community exhibition
- A learning project for the municipality's 4. to 6. school grades financed by Esbjerg Municipality.
The project 'North Sea Life and People' has been established on the occasion of the Tyra Redevelopment, where TotalEnergies and the DUC partners together with Esbjerg Municipality take another development step, as many local companies and residents are involved in the project which will ensure Danish natural gas supply while reducing the climate footprint of the Tyra field.
