Betina Jørgensen fra TotalEnergies Danmark valgt ind i Green Power Danmarks bestyrelse
København, 28 maj, 2024 – TotalEnergies udvider nu sit engagement i Green Power Denmark. Fra denne måned træder energiselskabets chef for forretningsudvikling af vedvarende energi i Danmark, Betina Jørgensen, ind i brancheorganisationens bestyrelse.
”I TotalEnergies sigter vi mod at være blandt de største udviklere af sol- og vind verden over med et mål om at have 100 gigawatt vedvarende energi kapacitet på plads i 2030. Også i Danmark er vores multienergistrategi begyndt at sætte sit aftryk, og jeg ser frem til at træde ind i bestyrelsen for det stærke branchesamarbejde i Green Power Denmark, hvor vi vil byde ind med vores erfaringer som offshore-ekspert i Danmark såvel som global udvikler af energi i stor skala”, fortæller Betina Jørgensen, Head of Renewable Business Development for TotalEnergies Danmark.
Med en baggrund som maskiningeniør har Betina arbejdet mere end 20 år i energibranchen i forskellige lederpositioner i flere dele af værdikæden, men fokus har altid været på elmarkedet og vedvarende energi.
Tidligere i år annoncerede TotalEnergies sine første havvindsprojekter i Danmark, da de indgik et partnerskab med European Energy om parkerne Lillebælt Syd og Jammerland Bugt. De to energiselskaber vil ligeledes samarbejde om danmarkshistoriens største havvindsudbud, som blev skudt i gang tidligere på året.

Betina Jørgensen from TotalEnergies Denmark elected to the board of Green Power Denmark
Copenhagen, May 28, 2024 – TotalEnergies is now expanding its commitment to Green Power Denmark. Starting this month, the energy company’s Head of renewable energy business development in Denmark, Betina Jørgensen, will join the industry organization’s board.
“At TotalEnergies, we aim to be amongst the largest developers of solar and wind worldwide with a goal to have 100 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity in place by 2030. Also in Denmark, our multi-energy strategy has begun to make its mark, and I look forward to joining the board of the strong industry collaboration in Green Power Denmark, where we will contribute with our experiences as an offshore expert in Denmark as well as a global developer of large-scale energy,” says Betina Jørgensen, Head of Renewable Business Development for TotalEnergies Denmark.
With a background as a mechanical engineer, Betina has worked more than 20 years in the energy sector in various leadership positions across different parts of the value chain, but the focus has always been on the electricity market and renewable energy.
Earlier this year, TotalEnergies announced its first offshore wind projects in Denmark when they entered into a partnership with European Energy about the parks Lillebælt Syd and Jammerland Bugt. The two energy companies will also collaborate on the largest offshore wind tender in Danish history, which was launched earlier this year.
